Stage 01 established that the problem is worth solving. Stage 02 connects teams, systems, security, and governance into one stable foundation, so that engineering begins on prepared ground.
Most programs treat the setup work as overhead. Access requests, security review, an environment that is nearly ready, a governance conversation deferred until something goes wrong. Engineering starts anyway, and the unfinished foundation shows up later as rework.
Stage 02 treats that work as the stage itself. Nothing is built on top of an assumption that has not been checked against how the business actually runs.
Establish the Core
This stage is led by your designated Delivery Lead, supported by our wider team of engineers and architects. It is the point where the engagement stops being a conversation with advisors and becomes a working relationship with the people who will deliver.
The objective is a stable foundation: teams, systems, and security connected, on Palantir, in a way that will hold through the pace of Stage 03.

Governance is defined
Who can see what, who decides, and how change is approved are settled before there is anything contentious to decide. Governance defined in advance is a structure. Governance defined mid-build is an escalation.
Domain knowledge transfers
Focused workshops move operational understanding from your team to ours. The purpose is to surface operational reality, not assumption: the exceptions, the workarounds, and the informal steps that never appear in a process diagram but determine whether a system is usable.
Prepared ground
By the end of Stage 02, the right people are aligned, the right systems are accessible, and the environment is fully prepared for disciplined engineering. Alignment is no longer something maintained in meetings. It is held in place by access, governance, and shared understanding.
