Effortless, by design.
Operate as One is our methodology for building together: a disciplined progression from conviction to Operator-Ready that aligns people, systems, and intelligence so decisions are made from a shared, live understanding of the business.
Stage 01 established the problem worth solving. Stage 02 prepared the ground. Stage 03 built the capability alongside the people who use it. Stage 04 hardened it until your operators trusted it under pressure. Now, in Stage 05, we make that trust the default for the whole organization, so using it takes no more thought than the work itself.
Stage 04 leaves you with something rare: an application the people who run the operation trust more than the spreadsheet. But trust earned by a dozen operators is not yet the habit of an organization. Beyond the team that built it are the people who were never in the room. They have their own workaround, their own report, and their own reasons to keep them.
Left alone, a trusted system becomes a well-regarded island. It works for those who know it, and around it the organization keeps operating the way it always did. Stage 05 exists so that does not happen. Adoption is not a launch or a training calendar. It is a design problem, and we treat it as one.
Design for Adoption
Stage 04 asked whether the application would hold. Stage 05 asks whether anyone will have to think about it. The distinction matters. A system can be dependable and still be optional: a place people go, rather than the way work happens. Design for Adoption closes that distance until the application is the obvious path for everyone whose decisions it should inform.
The name is deliberate. We do not drive adoption, and we do not mandate it. We design for it: in the shape of the application, in the paths that lead into it, and in the removal of the paths that lead around it. When the easiest way to do the work is also the right one, adoption follows without a campaign.
Built into the work, not bolted beside it
Meet the decision where it is made
Every decision in the operation has a moment and a place: a morning stand-up, a purchase approval, a call from a customer. We map those moments and shape the application to them, so the answer arrives inside the existing rhythm rather than in a system someone has to remember to open. On Palantir, that often means the workflow itself moves into the application, with the action taken where the insight appears.
Your operators carry it forward
The operators of Stage 04 understand the application because they helped build it. That is the advantage we extend. The application already speaks their language and answers their questions, so the people who shaped it become the ones who bring it to everyone else. Adoption spreads the way it was built: operator to operator, inside the work, not through a training calendar.
Retire the workaround
Adoption rarely fails because the new path is bad. It fails because the old path is still open. Together with your leaders, we decide which reports, spreadsheets, and side systems the application replaces, and then we retire them on a date, not eventually. The single view established in Stage 02 becomes the only view, because reconciliation between two sources is where trust quietly leaks away.
Measure the habit, not the launch
We instrument use from the first day: who is in the application, when, for which decisions, and where the old path is still being walked. Those signals go straight back into the build. A screen nobody opens is redesigned or removed. A step people skip is questioned. Adoption is finished when the data says so, not when the rollout plan does.
The way you work
By the end of Stage 05, the application is not the new system. It is how the operation runs, for the people who built it and for those who never knew there was another way. The workarounds are gone. The meetings start from the same number. Decisions are made from a shared, live understanding of the business, which is what Operate as One set out to do.
This is where clarity stops being something you consult and becomes something you have. Intelligence embedded so deeply in how you work that it stops feeling like a tool and starts feeling like an instinct. That is what we mean by Decision Mode.
Stage 05 closes the progression, but it does not close the relationship. Our promise is a long one: for as long as your organization runs, we remain alongside you, and every new problem starts from an organization that already operates as one.
Adoption is not something you announce. It is what remains when nobody calls it the new system anymore.
Every stage makes the value visible before you commit to the next. Tell us the problem you are weighing.
